For those moments when you feel you need to see "something else" we propose some of the tourism attractions around Cluj:
At a 3 km distance, north- west there are Cheile Turzii (Turzii Quays). |
For the extreme sports lovers, we have something special: climbing on Cheile Turzii and Turului walls, or even more spectacular, routes and climbing at Scarita Belioara, a reservation of rare beauty, specially looked for by the foreign tourists from Hungary, Austria, Italy and Germany. All these activities assisted by professional instructors and guides. |
The Scarita Belioara reservation, founded in 1941, is situated in the Apuseni Mountains, in Muntele Mare massif, on the territory of the communes of Ocolis and Posaga. The main way of access coming from the hotel is Valea Ariesului, also very impressive. |
At a 12 km distance west there are Cheile Turzii, (Turzii Quays), a geologic, floristic and fauna treasure with a variety of more than 1000 plant species. Of a special scientific importance and of a great tourism attraction, Cheile Turzii (Turzii Quays) have been declared a natural reservation starting with the year 1938, becoming later a natural U.N.E.S.C.O. patrimony, rightfully considered one of the most important monuments of nature. |
Then, Salina Turda (the Turda Salt marsh), is situated at only 1 km distance from the hotel towards the town. Impressive and unaltered incursion to history and geology, Salina Turda (the Turda Salt marsh) is the place from where the Romans used to extract salt for a considerable part of their empire. |
Salina Turda (the Turda Salt marsh) entered the tourism circuit in 1992. The microclimate of the salt marsh is characterised by yearly variations of temperature comprised in the limits 11-12 C, a relative humidity of about 80%, air pressure situated between 747-752 mmHg and the movement speed of the atmosphere in the limits 0.02-0.70m/sec. These factors, an ionisation of the air on moderated levels, as well as the lack of pathogenic bacteria, contribute to the well-known curative effect in affections of the respiratory tract. |

On the shore of the Martinesti Lakes, we can offer the fishing lover days of relaxation and satisfaction at the same time. |
